As a classically trained stage actor whose performances have garnered critical acclaim, she received her BFA in theatre performance from Fordham College at Lincoln Center, paid for by the scholarship she won in The Miss America Organization.

Linzi considered herself the "ditziest nerd" during her school years, skipping grades, qualifying for high IQ societies, and graduating Summa Cum Laude with a double major in journalism and minor in computer science as their youngest graduate.

While in New York, she was also trained in Shakespeare and Chekhov with the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning Off-Broadway Atlantic Theater Company and performed improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade, where she is an alumnus.

Her dance and movement experience was year-round in musical theatre and furthered at Alvin Ailey. Her fight choreography and stunt training were furthered at JAM Studios. Her on-camera training was most recently furthered at John Markland Studios.
