I had an interesting and unconventional upbringing which included being Home Educated.
I was exposed to a number of philosophies with the idea of autodidacticism being upper most.
Despite that, in relation to my Theatrical studies my Mum (Danielle Carson) a very experienced and accomplished performer in Stage, TV and Film was an ever-present influence and source of knowledge throughout my childhood and adolescence along with her extensive pool of friends and colleagues. Tommy Steele, Ray Winstone, Dennis Lawson, Kate O’Mara, Sian Phillips, Warwick Davies, John Barrowman, Ron Moody and too many more to mention! Who’s collective views and advice shaped my approach to the craft.

I did embrace some of the more traditional performance education such as Lamda Drama Exams, RAD and IDTA Ballet Exams.
Countless Dance Workshops with people such as Layton Williams, Dougie Squires, Anthony Johns, Graham Henderson and many more.
Private tuition in Singing, Dancing, Acting and Voiceover Acting.
Circus skills at the National Centre for Circus Arts.
Puppetry with Jimmy Grimes.

I continue to study, develop and explore all areas of performance.
