Gina Markowitsch was born in Lucerne (Ch), moved to Germany to train as an actor, studied at the Rostock University of Music and Theater and then played for four years at the Theater Junge Generation  in Dresden. Most recently, she created two films with her related visual artist Rémy Markowitsch, which were shown at Kindl Berlin and at the Weltkulturerbe Völklinger Hütte. Gina Markowitsch lives and works in Berlin.
