aktorky-ta-aktory.org is Ukrainian for "Actresses & Actors" and digital home for actors from Ukraine. Launched by the Bundesverband Schauspiel BFFS (Federal Association of Acting, Germany) in cooperation with the Produzentenallianz (Producers' Alliance, Germany), VdA (Association of Agencies for Film, Television and Theatre, Germany), ARDA (Association of French Casting Directors), PCDG (Polish Casting Directors Guild), VOECD (Association of Austrian Casting Directors), Academy of Austrian Film, SSFV (Swiss Syndicate Film and Video), BVC (Association of German Casting Directors), Deutsche Filmakademie e.V. (German Film Academy) and ICDN (Association of International Casting Directors) support the initiative. The hashtag #UnitedWeAct underlines the goal of the action: to help integrate Ukrainian actors into the European film family. Further supporting partners are very welcome.
"We are pleased to welcome our Ukrainian colleagues with "Aktorky ta Aktory". With this platform, we are giving them an opportunity to present themselves as actors in their profession, far away from home," says Antoine Monot, member of the board of the Bundesverband Schauspiel e.V. BFFS.
Ulrich Meinhard, chairman of the VdA, emphasizes the cross-industry character: "The associations help together and pragmatically – directly in the everyday work of all those involved – to integrate the Ukrainian actors into existing structures in the EU."
Anja Dihrberg -Siebler, member of the Executive Board of the ICDN, explains: "For the members of the ICDN around the Ukrainian casting director Alla Samoylenko, cooperation is the central basis. aktorky-ta-aktory.org enables us to consider actors across-borders and to make them visible beyond Ukraine, to set an example for constructive partnerships."
aktorky-ta-aktory.org is operated based on Castupload. The profiles of the actors are integrated into the systems of casting directors, production companies and acting databases. The BFFS offers the actors to become guest member of the association, the VdA offers professional representation, and the other partners ensure visibility in the industry. The actors that had to leave their home are matched with actors at their destination as "acting partners".

Berlin, 22.03.2022 – Mit dem Portal aktorky-ta-aktory.org sorgen europäische Filmverbände aus dem Bereich Schauspiel für mehr Sichtbarkeit von Schauspieler*innen aus der Ukraine
aktorky-ta-aktory.org ist ukrainisch für „Schauspielerinnen & Schauspieler“ und eine neue digitale Heimat von Schauspieler*innen aus der Ukraine. Vom Bundesverband Schauspiel BFFS in Kooperation mit der Produzentenallianz ins Leben gerufen, unterstützen VdA (Verband der Agenturen für Film, Fernsehen und Theater e.V.), ARDA (Verband französischer Casting-Direktoren), PCDG (Polish Casting Directors Guild), VOECD (Verband der Österreichischen Casting Directors), Akademie des Österreichischen Films, SSFV (Schweizer Syndikat Film und Video), BVC (Bundesverband Casting e.V.), Deutsche Filmakademie e.V. und ICDN (International Casting Directors Network) die Initiative. Der Hashtag #UnitedWeAct unterstreicht das Ziel der Aktion: Hilfe leisten zur Eingliederung von ukrainischen Schauspieler*innen in die europäische Filmbranche. Weitere Unterstützung aus der Branche ist sehr willkommen.
"Wir freuen uns, mit "Aktorky ta Aktory" unsere ukrainischen Kolleg*innen willkommen zu heißen. Mit dieser Plattform geben wir ihnen, fern der Heimat, eine Möglichkeit, sich in ihrem Beruf als Schauspieler*innen auch bei uns präsentieren zu können“, so Antoine Monot, Mitglied des Vorstandes des Bundesverband Schauspiel e.V. BFFS.
Ulrich Meinhard, Vorstand des VdA, hebt den branchenübergreifenden Charakter hervor: „Die Verbände helfen gemeinsam und pragmatisch – und zwar direkt im Arbeitsalltag aller Beteiligten – die geflüchteten ukrainischen Schauspieler*innen in bestehende Strukturen in der EU zu integrieren.“
Anja Dihrberg -Siebler, Mitglied des Executive Boards des ICDN, erläutert: „Für die Mitglieder des ICDN um die ukrainische Casting Direktorin Alla Samoylenko ist Zusammenarbeit die zentrale Basis. aktorky-ta-aktory.org ermöglicht uns allen, Schauspieler*innen länderübergreifend in Überlegungen einzubeziehen und über die Ukraine hinaus sichtbar zu machen, ein Zeichen für ein konstruktives Miteinander zu setzen.“
aktorky-ta-aktory.org wird auf Basis von Castupload betrieben. Die Profile der Schauspieler*innen sind in die Systeme von Casting-Direktor*innen, Produktionsfirmen und Schauspiel-Datenbanken integriert. Der BFFS ermöglicht den Schauspieler*innen eine Gast-Mitgliedschaft im Verband, der VdA eine professionelle Vertretung und die weiteren Partner sorgen für Sichtbarkeit in der Branche. Die geflüchteten Schauspieler*Innen werden an ihrem Aufenthaltsort mit dort beheimateten Schauspieler*Innen als „Acting-Partner“ vernetzt.
