The historical and action-driven drama film, written by Antti J. Jokinen and Jorma Tommila, draws its inspiration from the Kalevala. In the lead role as Kullervo is Elias Salonen, while the second main role, Untamo, is portrayed by Jussi Award-winning actor Eero Aho.
