At the beginning of May I performed in a production of “A bunch of amateurs” by Ian Hislop & Nick Newman for a week. My role was Dennis Dobbins, described as “avuncular though slightly dull”.  Playing somebody boring was new to me in this role, but after a few discussions with the director we found a way that worked liked a treat! The audience loved it, and we were almost sold out for a week!
