Yousef Sweid is an Israeli-Arab actor based in Berlin. In his play BETWEEN THE RIVER AND THE SEA at Gorki Theatre, Berlin, he interweaves personal anecdotes with his unique political reflections, sharing everything from funny stories about life in Berlin to flashbacks of his childhood as an Arab kid from a Christian family in a Jewish kindergarten. He seeks to understand how to navigate a world where he always finds himself »in between.«
