He was born and raised in Athens but comes from Kallithea, Pylos, Messinia.[2] After finishing school, he started studying at the Athens Gymnastics Academy, while a little later he decided to take up acting, studying at the drama schools of Nikos Vastardis and Giorgos Theodosiadis.
