Veronique Baylaucq is a Paris based French and Canadian perfectly bilingual Actress and Voice. After her BA Honors Degree at Queen’s University, Canada, where she made her stage debut in “Guys and Dolls” she headed to Los Angeles. There she trained at The Loft Studio with Peggy Feury, and there she rubbed shoulders with, among others: Sean Penn, Michèle Pfeiffer, Meg Tilly, Nicolas Cage and playwright Horton Foote… After two years in the US she was yearning to get back into a more physical and theatrical process. She then headed to Paris where trained at the internationally renowned theatre school  “l’Ecole Jacques Lecoq”. Her father is French. On her mothers side her grand-parents Jeannette Meunier and André Bieler are important canadian artists.  Known to the general public in France for her lead roles in French television series. She was directed in the theatre by  Philippe Adrien alongside Claudia Cardinale in “Sweet Bird of Youth” by Tennessee Williams and by Stéphane Hillel at the Théâtre Edouard VII . She also trained in the field of theatrical clowning. In recent years she has taken on a Quebec accent in Aline by Valérie Lemercier and in the Xmas Special of Week end Family with Eric Judor.
