Born in Vienna in 1962, I gained my first experience in theatre while still at school – only to decide at the age of 20 to pursue something “sensible” after all.

For the next 20 years, I kept myself afloat working as a legal secretary, hotel employee, cleaner, babysitter, dog sitter, German teacher, marketing assistant and executive assistant in Austria, French-speaking Switzerland, England and Italy (which is why I am fluent in English, French and Italian). During this time, I also gave birth to two small – now decidedly not so small – rascals: Fabio (born 1996) and Luca (born 1998). Eventually, I found my way back to clowning and acting – well, better late than never, right?

For the past 22 years, however, my passion and joy have not been limited to the stage and film alone. I lead clown and comedy workshops for adults, children and young people, including “train-the-trainer” sessions for teachers as well as motivational training for managers. Moderating, lecturing, training and directing round out my artistic repertoire.

In spring 2018, I was additionally offered the artistic directorship of the Lenautheater in Stockerau, a position I was happy to hold until spring 2022. In 2020, I founded the theatre association Il Salottino, based in Waidhofen an der Ybbs, and since autumn 2023 I have been teaching acting at the Ybbstal School of Art and Music.
