Thit Aaberg

About me

View profile
Thit Aaberg is a Danish actor, musician and multidisciplinary artist with a breakout performance in a leading role on the critically acclaimed DR1 series Ungeren. In 2025, they became the first non-binary actor in Denmark to be nominated for a Robert Award (the Danish equivalent of an Academy Award), marking a historic moment in Danish film and television.

Thit also stars in a leading role in a feature film premiering on Netflix, further establishing their international presence. Known for their raw emotional range and magnetic screen presence, Thit combines years of professional stage experience — including leading roles at Østre Gasværk Teater — with a deep commitment to character-driven storytelling across film, television, and music.

Based in Copenhagen and fluent in English (both American and British accents), Thit is now seeking international representation and new collaborations that challenge norms and expand what stories can be told — and who gets to tell them.

Training

I have a solid background in theatre, which began when I was just 9 years old. From the age of 9 to 16, I studied theatre intensively, and since then I’ve received private training and worked professionally in the industry as an actor. In addition to my acting training, I’ve studied both hip hop and jazz ballet, as well as partner acrobatics, which has given me strong physical awareness and versatility in my artistic expression.
