Tatu Sinisalo is a multilingual Finnish actor known for leading roles in award-winning biopics Born in Heinola and King of Hearts, both honored with the Jussi Audience Award. He gained international recognition in Jalmari Helander’s Sisu (TIFF 2022, Sony/Lionsgate 2023), and stars in the upcoming U.S. feature Love Is the Monster alongside Leonardo Nam and Madeline Zima.

Trained across Europe and the U.S.—including the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (MA Acting for Screen), the American Arts Film & Television Academy (LA), NÄTY, and with Patsy Rodenburg—Tatu brings creative range, sharp instinct and authenticity to every role.

Equally at home on stage and screen, he recently played the lead in Priscilla – Queen of the Desert at Helsinki City Theatre and has appeared in prominent roles in series like Helsinki Crimes (Netflix), Welcome to Texas (Warner Bros Int.), and Justimus: Duo (YLE).

With a strong background in music, language, and biopic research, Tatu is fluent in English, Finnish, Swedish, and Standard American.

Based between London, Helsinki, and Los Angeles, he holds an EU passport and a U.S. O-1 talent visa.
