Sylvain Schmitt presents himself as a versatile artist, honing his skills in several disciplines. He began with choral singing and theater, then moved on to dance, stunt work, fencing, piano, and drums.
He has participated in numerous training programs, including the Cours Florent drama school in Brussels, the Liège Opera Choir School, the Beatriz Flores acting workshop (Stanislavski method), and workshops and internships at Talents Academy. He had the opportunity to experience the professional world of musical theater at the age of 13, playing young Kurt in "The Sound of Music" at the "Bruxellons!" festival in 2015. Since then, his passion for musical theater has never left him. Accustomed to managing multiple projects simultaneously, he recently directed a student project: the musical "CHICAGO," which premiered in early May 2025 at the Aula Magna.  During this same period, he played the lead role in the musical "Il était une autre fois" (Once Upon a Time) for a tour in Wallonia in the spring of 2025. A history enthusiast, he simultaneously pursued a degree in art history and archaeology at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
In the fall, he joined the cast of "L'île au trésor" (Treasure Island), a musical by Christopher Delarue and Shay Alon, produced by Tobiarts Production for a tour in French-speaking Belgium. With the "Classe libre comédie musicale" program, a new chapter began. Deciding to put his university studies on hold, Sylvain definitively pursued an artistic career and set off to explore Paris.
