Simon Basler is a Swiss film and theater actor. He trained at NYFA in New York City and simultaneously starred in more than a dozen short films. He moved back to Basel for several reasons, one of them being in the arthouse film "Notes for a Consensual Fiction" which is currently screening at the "Seminci International Film Festival". Simon has been an extra in the two latest episodes of the crime series "Tatort" and in several productions at "Theater Basel". Recently he has been in a play based on the book "Basel's Hidden Stories" by local author Jeanne Darling. Simon has also taken a deep interest in architecture & design, environmental subjects and politics.
