Shevelle has made his mark in film, fashion, and television, working with renowned photographers such as Dave La Chapelle and Rankin, appearing in music videos, commercials, and recently in Netflix's Bridgerton. His influence and achievements extends worldwide with teaching and workshops, including a choreographed production of Romeo and Juliet at the Seychelles National Theatre in 2023. In recognition of his contributions and to honour his achievements, Shevelle's legacy has been recognised by the National Portrait Gallery in London and through accolades such as the BCA Future Leader Award, being made a Patron of All England Dance in 2022, and recently being honoured with the Freedom of the City of London in 2024 for his services to the arts.
