Shamar Rice is a rising actor and dancer from Baltimore, Maryland, whose career is rooted in resilience, discipline, and a deeply personal creative evolution. Growing up in the limelight as a performer with his family's dance crew, The Baltimore Show Stoppers, Shamar began captivating audiences at just five years old, immersed in the city's vibrant street and club dance culture. A pivotal knee injury later shifted his artistic path, leading him to discover a profound passion for acting - a transition that marked the beginning of his multidisciplinary journey as a storyteller.

Shamar has trained extensively across top institutions, including The Online Actor Training Studio (Toronto), The McKinnon Acting Studio, Zak Barnett Studio, and The Houde School of Acting. He is currently earning his BFA in Film and Television: Acting On-Camera, where he continues to deepen his technique through coursework in Improv (Levels 1 & 2) and on-camera performance. His dance training includes Hip Hop Foundations, Jazz, Jazz Funk, Vogue, Contemporary, and Afro Beats, contributing to his distinct physical presence on screen.

Now based in Los Angeles, Shamar's growth over the past eight months has been described as nothing short of transformative. He is represented by Untamed Artists LA and Exclusive Artists Agency, with recent credits including a co-star role on Perry Mason (HBO Max). With a presence shaped by both movement and emotion, Shamar brings authenticity, intensity, and purpose to every role, making him a talent to watch in the next wave of boundary-pushing performers.
