Satya Baskaran is an actor, director, producer and acting coach. He recently performed as part of the critically acclaimed 'Stranger Things: The Experience" in Abu Dhabi, and was nominated for best actor at the Dubai Theatre Awards. Trained at the University of Birmingham, England and Vancouver Film School, Canada, Satya co-founded an award-winning production and creative coaching company, Cross Bronx Studio. He has been working across multiple mediums including theatre, film and commercials since 2014, and began his career with a 5-star reviewed original show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He also won the Short+Sweet Theatre Festival 2020, was nominated for best actor at The Junction Awards 2021, and best director in 2022. Satya’s experience ranges from Classical to Contemporary to Immersive Theatre as well as Film, TV and Commercial projects. Satya is also an accomplished acting coach and instructor, having covered materials including acting, directing, filmmaking, editing and storytelling.
