Rupinder Nagra is an actor with an international presence who has been seen at Telluride, Berlin and TIFF. He is well known for his portrayal of Amal Kumar in Richie Mehta's "Amal" (a role that garnered him a Canadian Academy Nomination and The Borsos Award for Best Actor at the Whistler Film Festival). The film went on to win over 20 awards internationally. The remake rights were acquired by Harpo.
