Rafe is an American/South African actor, musician, writer, and filmmaker that works locally in Cape Town, Barcelona, and New York. He trained at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City, performing leading roles in Hamlet, Tennessee Williams, and Clifford Odets plays under Lola Cohen, Robert Ellerman, and Vincent D'Onofrio.

After Strasberg, he remained in New York to pursue independent work, collaborating with Judd Hirsch on the short film The Winds of Heaven. His feature debut, Menagerie (2019), was followed by Goodbye Honey (2020), which premiered at Dances with Films and earned him Best Supporting Actor at the 2021 Garden State Film Festival.

He has appeared in productions for Netflix (Churchill at War), History Channel (FDR), Fox Nation (Wanted: Dead or Alive), and the Yellowstone prequel 1923, sharing the screen with Helen Mirren, Harrison Ford, and Bruce Davison. He has also worked with the Peace Appeal Foundation, leading drama therapy programs for refugees in Thailand, Myanmar, and Syria.
