Pinar Karaaslan (1985) is a Turkish-Swedish actress, writer, and artist. Her acting journey began at twelve, performing in school productions and later in community theatre in her hometown of Adana.

After earning a degree in industrial design from ITU, she explored graphic, interior, and product design. However, her passion for acting led her to pursue it full-time in 2017.

Pinar is best known for her roles in The Lens Flair (2022), The Pendant (2020), and Lost (2019), which earned her a "Best Actress" nomination at the Guara del Ouro Film Festival in Brazil in 2021. Her lead role in the politically charged Strong & Unbending (2022) has also gained critical attention.

She has trained in Method Acting with renowned Actors Studio instructors Andre Landzaat and Michael Margotta and studied the Meisner Technique with Steven Ditmyer and Leila Gray. Between 2022 and 2024, she worked with Romy Irene on the Chubbuck Technique while continuously attending workshops across Europe.

As an experienced actress, Pinar has secured diverse roles in international films, commercials, and stage productions. Known for her improvisation skills and captivating on-screen presence, she authentically conveys a wide range of emotions.

Fluent in Swedish, American English, and Turkish, and conversant in Dutch and German, she is skilled with accents and quick to learn new languages.

Beyond acting, Pinar is a storyteller, voice-over artist, and certified yoga teacher. She enjoys bouldering, beach volleyball, and dreams of horseback riding adventures.

Pinar is proactive, open-minded, and deeply passionate about her craft.
