Philip Bender is a real Berliner. He started to play small theater roles at a young age. Acting remains today one of his many talents. Philip is also as a painter. He had his first solo exhibition in Düsseldorf in 2021. For his portrayal of Eve Anderson in the internationally acclaimed film A Damn Killer, Bender was awarded Best Supporting Actor at the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival in 2010, making him the first Afro-German actor to be honoured with an acting award in Hollywood.
