Born in Santiago de Chile and raised in Madrid, Paulina Gálvez began her artistic career as a flamenco dancer in Spain. She debuted in films shortly afterwards and her passion for performing led her to work with the famous Catalan experimental group Els Joglars, from Barcelona. Since then, she has played more than 90 different characters from comedy to drama in theater, film and television.
In cinema she has worked under directors as Carlos Saura, Gonzalo Suárez, Cédric Klapisch or Manane Rodríguez, for whose character in Portrait of a Woman with a Man in the Background she was Nominated for the Goya as Newcoming Actress.
Her work in the Chilean blockbuster Subterra, by Marcelo Ferrari, brought her the Best Actress Awards at the Biarritz and Lleida Latin American film festivals, as well as one APES nomination. 
During her stay in Miami, Paulina has starred in, produced and directed theater, winning as an actress the Miami Life Award for best monologue for her production Taitantos.
On television, we have seen her in the Spanish production  Embajada (2016) and in many other international series such as the American production Queen of Swords for Paramount TV (2000), the American / Chilean Dueños del Paraíso for Telemundo NBC (2015), starring Kate del Castillo; in the The Purge TV series (2018), where she was chosen to play Catalina; or in the American production Panhandle on Sony TV (2022) where she plays Alicia Perez.
Last summer we discovered her in the final chapter of the cult series The Blacklist, where she shares scenes with James Spader and she also stared in the British tv series STAGS, the new production from the creators of Sex Education for Paramount +. 
Paulina is part of the main cast in Le Passage, her  second film with the Moroccan director Mohamed Amin Benamraoui, that is opening this year.
