Paola Bontempi is a versatile actress, bilingual in English and Spanish, trained at prestigious acting schools in London, Los Angeles, and Madrid.

Of Italian, German, Chilean, and Spanish descent, she grew up on the island of Tenerife, where she discovered her artistic vocation at a young age. She graduated with honors from the London Academy of Performing Arts and the Guildford School of Acting, and later expanded her training in film and television at UCLA (Los Angeles).

After several years working in the United States, Paola settled in Madrid, building a solid career in film, television, and theater.
Her film debut was Oscar, El color del destino, alongside Joaquim de Almeida and Victoria Abril, and her performance received excellent reviews, establishing her as an actress with international potential.

In film, she is known for her leading role in The Glass Coffin, for which she won Best Actress awards at international festivals such as Horrorant in Athens, FilmQuest in Utah, and Horrorfest in South Africa, as well as receiving several nominations. Other works include In the Trap, Mask of Sanity, and The End of All Things, with the latter two earning her Best Actress awards at festivals such as Queens World Film Festival and Fant Bilbao.

On television, she has appeared in productions such as the popular comedy La que se avecina, Mercado Central, and Guante Blanco. In the United Kingdom, she portrayed Catherine of Aragon in the BBC historical drama Six Wives, and she also plays María Bianco in the international series Nacho, available on streaming platforms worldwide.
