Otilia Panainte is a film and musical theater actress based in Bucharest, Romania. She was born in Onesti, Romania, in 1982.
She graduated from the Musical Theatre Master Program at Universitatea “Dunarea de Jos” in Galati, Romania and The Central Academy of Drama in Beijing, China (2017). She is a member of the Independent Center for Actor Training (London).

Her musical theater portfolio includes titles such as Heidi, The Sound of Music, A Chorus Line and For Tonight (Adelphi Theater, London). Her TV experience includes series such as Las Fierbinti (PRO TV), Lectii de viata and Bravo, tata! (Antena 1). She also worked in film with directors such as Andrei Epure, Octav Chelaru and Tudor Jurgiu. Her collaboration with Cristi Puiu in MMXX (2023), brought a nomination at the GOPO Awards for best female in secondary role in 2024.
