Omer Perlman Striks is an international film, television, and theatre actor currently based in Berlin. He is best known for his leading role as Dov Laser Braun in the acclaimed Israeli series Shababnikim, recently acquired by Netflix; Season 3 premiered in spring 2025 and the show will stream globally later this year.
His recent screen work includes the short film Nothing, Maybe (Winner – Best Film, TLVFest 2025), the U.S. production Mosolov’s Suitcase, the German series Munich Games (SKY/CBS), HBO Max’s Valley of Tears, and The Swimmer (Apple TV Germany), for which he won Best Actor at the Jerusalem Film Festival.
On stage, Omer has performed in a wide range of productions in Israel and Europe. He is currently developing Don’t Forget the Way Back Home, a multilingual theatre project created between Berlin and Greece, planned to premiere in 2027.
Omer works internationally in English, Hebrew, and German.
