Nora Monsecour (°1996) started dancing at the Royal Ballet School in Antwerp when she was 9 years old. Before completing her education at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds (UK) in 2018, she studied at the MUDA, School for Contemporary Dance in Belgium. In 2017 she reached the final of the BBC TV show BBC Young Dancer in the contemporary dance category. In 2018 she joined the tanzmainz ensemble at Staatstheater Mainz (GER) where she performs in work from Club Guy and Roni, Sharon Eyal, Roy Assaf,...
Her journey as a transgender dancer was the inspiration behind the award winning film GIRL (2018), directed by Lukas Dhont, and has led her to write her autobiography 'De weg naar mezelf' (2019).
 
In 2022 , she started a collaboration with Pantene Belgium where she became the ‘muse’ of Pantene. From September 2023, she will start as a freelance artist working with different choreographers all over the world as well as making her first steps as an actor.
