Nayia Anastasiadou is a Cyprus-based actress. She holds an MA in Classical and Contemporary Text (Acting) from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, a diploma in Acting from Athens Stage Drama School, and a degree in Social Anthropology from Panteion University.

Nayia has performed extensively across Cyprus, Greece, and the UK, portraying a diverse array of roles in productions including Henna Night by Amy Rosenthal, Homesick by Alexandros Papadiamantis, Guess Who’s Going to Die Tonight by Reppas & Papathanasiou, Foxfinder by Dawn King, Fired by Antonis Tsipianitis, Splendour by Abi Morgan, 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche by Evan Linder & Andrew Hobgood, Girls Like That by Evan Placey, Contractions and Bull by Mike Bartlett, Measure for Measure and Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare, and Edward II by Christopher Marlowe.

She founded Anyhow Theatre Ensemble and has collaborated with numerous other theatre companies including Point to Contemporary Theater, Mitos, The Show Must Go On(line), Belacqua Theatre, Brief Palava, and the Cyprus Theatre Organisation (THOC).

Nayia’s training spans a wide range of performance techniques, including Meyerhold’s Biomechanics (NIPAI, Berlin), Michael Chekhov Technique, Meisner Technique, Demidov Technique, Suzuki Method, Corporeal Mime, Estill Voice Training, and unarmed stage combat (certified by the British Academy of Stage and Screen Combat).
