Mio Jurek Südhoff has always been interested in almost everything and everyone, but as a child he was already especialy keen to act.

2022, at the age of 14, he started at the young branch of the Deutsches Theater, DT Jung* and got to be part of the very personal  produktion of "Unspoken" (Director: Kamilé Gudmonaite).
The play was invited to the com•moon•a Festival in Lithuania and awarded best performance of the festival.

He also started participating in Short Films as a young actor.
Including the mid-length Film "French Flamingo Fucker" (Directors: Louis Gering, Leo Geisler), which was invited to the "Max Ophüls Film Festival" 2024.

Two further Plays at DT Jung* followed, including a cooperation with the Esemble of the Deutsches Theater in "GAIA am Deutschen Theater(GÖ)" by Nele Stuhler (Direktor: Sahra Kurze).

Since 2023 he has been hired as a guest actor by the Deutsches Theater, initially for the production "Baracke" by Rainald Goetz (Director: Claudia Bossard), which was invited to the Mühlheimer Theatertage 2024 and nominated for the Theatertreffen at the Berliner Festspiele. Additionally in 2025 he took on a role in the Production „Das Dinner“ (Director: András Dömötör).

He ist currently studying for his Abiturabschluss and will afterwards in 2027 begin his studies at Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch in Berlin.
