Mikkel Lund is a Danish actor based in Copenhagen, with a career spanning over 30 years in theatre, film, TV, and commercials. He graduated from The Solid Foundation programme at The Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts in 2002 and furthered his education in Denmark by studying with Kenneth Carmohn, the founder of The Danish Film Actors Academy, in 2007.

Mikkel is best known for playing the title role in Odense Teater’s 2015 production of “The Elephant Man,” written and directed by Therese Wiilstedt. He also played the role of “Thomas” in the 2019 film “Neon Heart,” directed by Laurits Flensted-Jensen, and lastly his part in “A Dream Play”, directed by Anna Balslev for the Royal Danish Theatre in 2024.

In 2019, Mikkel released his debut EP, “Built for Comfort,” featuring five original songs. The music conveys a warm-hearted message to the world that anything is possible, no matter the circumstances.

Born with cerebral palsy, Mikkel’s condition affects his arms and legs, and he uses an electric wheelchair daily. He has fully embraced his disability and is committed to challenging public perceptions of disability.

Mikkel is expanding his search for roles to include English-speaking parts in European countries, using his Mercedes Sprinter van for transportation. He is particularly interested in working as a character actor in thrillers, dramas, TV series, short and feature films, and relevant commercials.
