Miguel is currently filming an NDA Disney+ series, and can be seen as Bruno in feature Maria Vitória which will premiere at the 2025 Tokyo International Film Festival

He won the Portuguese Golden Globe for Best Actor in Fiction for his portrayal of protagonist, João Vidal in the Netflix series “Glória”. The series also won the Best TV Series prize at the 2022 Sophia Awards.
Miguel is known for his work on the drama Letters from War, nominated for the Golden Bear at the Berlinale in 2016, and nominated for the Silver Bear Prize for Best Leading Actor. Over the years he has worked with directors such as Teresa Villaverde, João Pedro Rodrigues, João Botelho and Rita Nunes.
