 Marina Palii is a Romanian-Moldovan actress based in Bucharest. She is fluent in five languages (Romanian, Russian, French, Polish, English), which brings a unique versatility to her work across stage and screen.
Her feature film debut came with Cristi Puiu’s Malmkrog (2020), a film that won the Encounter's Best Director ar Berlinale 2020, where she played Countess Olga — a performance that marked her as one of the most promising new voices in Romanian cinema and brought her a nomination for Best Leading Actress at GOPO National Film Awards in Romania. 
Selected for Sarajevo Talents (2020) and Berlinale Talents (2021), Marina has been recognized for her powerful presence in text-driven, drama films and her commitment to both cinema and live performance.
