Best known for her role as Dearbhla Dillon in RTE Television's prime time drama FAIR CITY which also broadcasts on BBC Television and STV2 in Scotland. Recent film credits include PARTING which premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh and KILLING IN C SHARP for Hallmark opposite Tamera Mowry as well as FIVE AND A HALF LOVE STORIES playing opposite Alison Oliver and Valene Kane and THE OTHER LAMB opposite Raffey Cassidy and Denise Gough. Maria recently made her professional stage debut playing Elena in UNCLE VANYA at Smock Alley Muicipal Theatre Dublin directed by Cathal Cleary and produced by Once Off Productions.
