Marcus Christensen is an award-nominated Danish actor with more than 20 years of experience in film, television, and theatre. He has worked across Europe, including in Iceland, Germany, Sweden, Norway, and Bulgaria.

Known for trans formative performances that explore characters others might dismiss as villains or “monsters.” He gravitates toward roles with deep emotional and moral complexity – navigating darkness, vulnerability, and ambiguity with empathy.

He was nominated for a Danish Robert Award (Best Supporting Actor) for his role in When Heaven Falls (Zentropa), and has collaborated with acclaimed Nordic directors including Christoffer Boe. His recent screen work includes The Sommerdahl Murders (TV2/ZDF), one of the most-watched Danish series in Germany, and an upcoming episode of the hit comedy series Klovn. On stage, Marcus starred in a contemporary Shakespeare production with the Copenhagen Shakespeare Company.

He is a voting member of both the Danish and European Film Academies, a member of Equity (UK), and works comfortably in both native and international productions. Marcus is fluent in English, Danish, and Swedish.
