Actor, director, author, teacher. He trained at the Stabile Teatro Scuola in Naples directed by Guglielmo Guidi, at the Teatro di Roma with Mario Martone, and at the Venice Biennale, at the directing workshops of Eimuntas Nekrosius and the playwriting workshops of Neil LaBute. He has worked as an actor in cinema with Pupi Avati, Alexis Sweet, Lucio Pellegrini, Stefano Alleva, Beniamino Catena, Pierpaolo Sepe, and others.

Since 1996, he has directed eighty theater productions. His play Anatomia della morte di... (Anatomy of the Death of...) won the award “7 spettacoli per un teatro italiano per il 2000” (7 plays for Italian theater in 2000). After graduating in Filmmaking from the New York Film Academy in 1999, he directed eight short films. The latest, Perdono, written by Dario Iacobelli, was a finalist at the 2019 Globi d'Oro awards. He is an adjunct professor at Link Campus University. Since 2015, he has been teaching at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome.
