From a very early age, Lucy Nilson appeared in front of the camera: as a baby, she acted in Andreas Kleinert’s feature film Barriere, alongside—or rather, in the arms of—her mother Corinna Nilson, and impressed audiences at the Berlinale with her natural empathy. Through several children’s productions for WDR under the direction of Hektor Haarkötter, as well as her work as a camera child on the ZDF show 1, 2 oder 3, she became accustomed to life on set, while her short film Muddelkuddel, directed by Oliver Bittner, traveled to film festivals around the world. She loves acting “because you put yourself in other people’s shoes and are allowed to do things you otherwise wouldn’t be able to do” (quote: Lucy Nilson).
Her powerful singing voice has been showcased in various concerts at the Cologne Philharmonic, in musical productions by the Collegium Musicum such as Melusine and Robin Hood, and on the CD production Sagen, Märchen und Legenden (Legends, Fairy Tales, and Myths). At AMG, she was accepted into the theater and media class. In 2023, she played the role of “Kira” in a production of The Seagull. In 2025, she appeared alongside Armin Rohde in the ARD film Schnitzel satt.
