Lidia Carew was born in Friuli in 1989.

After studying dance in Italy, she completed her training at the Alvin Ailey Dance School in New York.

She lived and worked between New York and Los Angeles for seven years. In 2016, alongside her artistic career, she began her path as a social entrepreneur by founding the non-profit organization Lidia Dice…, through which she develops Diversity & Inclusion projects focused not only on talking about inclusion, but on actively creating it.

In 2023, she co-produced the Sky Inclusion Days together with Sky Italia.

Among Lidia Carew’s most recent and notable works are Aiace by Luca Micheletti, staged at the Greek Theatre of Syracuse; La Repubblica delle Donne on Rete4, hosted by Piero Chiambretti with Michela Murgia; the SKY series Ghost Hotel, where she worked as creative director and performer; and the sixth Rai season of Il Collegio, in which she appeared as a dance teacher.
