I trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School (1975) and began at Crewe Rep, then Manchester Library Theatre (The Comedians), followed by the National Theatre (Sell Out), the RSC, and three years as Steve Fisher in Coronation Street. Theatre highlights include Funny Peculiar and Trafford Tanzi, plus tours with Bill Kenwright. I became well-known as “the very nice man” in the AA ads. In 1997 I founded The Talking Trade, bringing performance skills to business worldwide. Now, with the Galton Agency, I’m thrilled to return to acting.
