Born and raised in Berlin, Lara spent most of her time on the football pitch. From a young age, she played for clubs like 1. FC UNION in the youth Bundesliga and the Berlin selection. At the same time, she completed her Abitur (graduated High School) at the sports school in Olympia Park. Football then led her to San Francisco, where she studied acting on a football scholarship. After successfully graduating, Lara began acting in short films and working as a casting director for projects such as FREMONT (Sundance 2023). Since starting out, Lara shortly received three nominations and two BEST ACTESS AWARDS at NXT UP FESTIVAL 2021 for projects BURNER and CONFESSION. She received another BEST ACRESS AWARD at the Washington DC CINEMA FEST 2022 for one of her projects, THIS IS GOODBYE (2022). This film was also screened at the RAINBOW UMBRELLA FESTIVAL 2023 in London, among others. After their move back to Berlin, Lara appeared on German TV shows such as DAS KÜSTENREVIER, as well as NOTRUF and an online champagne for the BMFSFJ. Lara's goal is to work on projects that promote authenticity, growth and progress for queer representation in film and television.
