Kuno Bakker is a Dutch actor, director and theatre‑maker, who is currently based in Belgium and trained at the Theatre School of Arnhem (1989‑1993). He is one of the founding members of the theatre collective Dood Paard (est. 1993) and has been at the heart of more than 30 productions with the company, performing across Europe.

Bakker’s work often combines theatrical risk‑taking with a poetic, physical style. He often performs non-cliché characters, as he is interested in what's hidden beneath the surface. He has both played mean, hard characters and warm, understanding men.

Fluent in Dutch (and proficient in English).
Holds a valid EU passport for international travel.
