Kristine Hartgen is a Norwegian actress based in Oslo, educated at The National Academy of Dramatic Arts in 2017. She has worked across theatre, film, and television, collaborating with acclaimed directors such as Eline Arbo, Ole Giæver, and Erik Skjoldbjærg.

She has portrayed complex characters ranging from classical roles such as Peer Gynt and Hedvig in The Wild Duck to contemporary film performances. In 2020, she played a leading role in Kampen om Narvik, for which she was nominated for the Amanda Award in 2023.

Alongside her acting career, she is developing her voice as a filmmaker. Her debut film, the hybrid documentary motherbaby, was invited to Grimstad and Oslo Pix — two of Norway’s most prestigious film festivals.
