Kate Brossard is a multilingual actress based in Paris.
She trained for four years in Acting at the Academy of Arts in Minsk (Belarus) and later studied Philology at the university level. She began her career at the Belarusian State Youth Theatre and the Theatre of Film Actor, where her early roles included Eliza Doolittle in Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion, the Woman in Jean Cocteau’s La Voix Humaine, Anya in Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard, among others. She also made her first steps in film during this period.

Forced to leave Belarus due to the severe political and economic situation under the current authoritarian regime, she spent several years working internationally as a contracted model. She eventually found a second home in Tokyo, Japan, where she continued to work both as a model and an actress. In collaboration with Tokyo International Players and Yokohama Theatre Production, she performed in English in works such as Harold Pinter’s The Hothouse, Ibsen’s A Doll’s House, Shakespeare’s Macbeth (as one of the Witches), Howard Barker’s The Possibilities, Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard (as Ranevskaya), and Les Liaisons Dangereuses as Marquise Isabelle de Merteuil, among others.

During her years in Tokyo, Kate also became a professional portrait and fashion photographer, completing her training with NYIP.

For the past several years, she has been living in Paris, where she continued her cinema education at the film school ESRA, earning a Master 2. She is now actively working in film and is currently preparing to play Arkadina in Chekhov’s The Seagull ( in French)
