Julia Savage’s feature film debut in 'Blaze' at the age of 13 saw her nominated for the Australian Film Critics Association Award and the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Award for Best Lead Actress in a feature film in 2022. In 2023 she appeared in the lead role of 'Amy' alongside Guy Pearce and Miranda Otto in the eight-part psychological thriller The Clearing for Disney+/Star and with Emily Browning in the 2023 all-female comedy series Class of '07 for Matchbox Pictures (Universal International Studios)/Amazon Studios/Prime. In 2025 she appeared in the role of 'Stella' with Teresa Palmer and Jim Sturgess in the acclaimed BBC TV Irish-Australian co-production Mix Tape.
Julia’s short film credits include the award-winning shorts Sherbert Rosencrantz, You’re Beautiful; historical fantasy Sweet Tooth, narrated by Cate Blanchett; horror-short The Familiars opposite Milly Alcock and ABC TV comedy documentary The Funny Ones. She will appear as 'Emma' in the 2026 Feature Film 'Boss Cat' opposite Penny Downie (Downton Abbey).
