Julia Josefine Schell was born in 1993 in Munich, Germany. At the tender age of 5, she graced the stage for the first time, and her artistic foundation encompassed a variety of disciplines, including 10 years of ballet, piano and tap dancing, as well as six years of hip-hop. This laid the groundwork for Julia's artistic development. Between 2006 and 20212, she was also a student at the Young Stage College Munich, a performing arts school for dance, singing, and acting. During this period, Julia participated in 6 different musical productions, gaining valuable stage experience.

After graduating from high school in 2012, Julia pursued studies in Journalism and Communication Studies at the university of Vienna, and in 2018, she completed her Master's in Marketing Management at the Global Business School Barcelona. Concurrently with her academic pursuits, she continued to engage in theater through various improvisational groups.

In the year 2021, Julia made the courageous decision to turn her passion for acting into a profession, embarking on a three-year acting education at the Schauspielschule Wien (Vienna Acting School).

Even during her training, Julia took part in several short films: "Tied Up and Performed" (2022, directed by Fabian Macher), "Portrait of a Family" (2023, directed by Jonah Wögerbauer), "Dreamlike" (2023, directed by Emilia Dorau), and "Romeo & Julia" (2023, directed by Niklas Raab).

In July 2023, Julia portrayed the role of Frau Dupperi in "Hase Hase" at Theater Arche (directed by Dana Caspo) and also served as an assistant director for the play "Espresso Susi - A Whimsy in the Shadow of Burenwurscht" (directed by Nika Sommeregger) at Theater Dschungel.
