Jonas Iwen is an acting student at Graz University of the Arts. He lived in his native city of Berlin for the first 18 years of his life.

During his school years, he took speech lessons with Paul Sonderegger and spoke for audio productions. In 2022, he worked as a bit-part actor in film and television productions for ARD-Degeto and major streaming providers. Before starting his studies, Jonas Iwen lived in Leipzig, where he played in the theatre production "Franziska. (AT)" under the direction of Charlott Riedel.

Jonas Iwen has been studying performing arts (acting) at the University of Art and Design Graz since October 2023. In addition to various university projects, he read at the interactive reading ‘OASE’ at Schauspielhaus Graz. He will also be back on stage at the Schauspielhaus in October 2025, this time in the guest production ‘Geschichten aus dem Frisiersalon’.
