John Michael Forbes (John Forbes) is an American character actor with over 35 years of experience across theatre, film, and television, working internationally between the U.S., U.K.,Europe and India. His work includes Off-Broadway productions, major U.S. television series, independent film, and international stage projects throughout Europe, Africa, and North America.

Screen credits include television appearances on Better Call Saul, The Resident, Grimm, and Homicide Hunter. Film work includes Maggie Moore(s), All Those Small Things, and the award-winning short Infraction, winner of Best Short Film at the British Independent Film Festival. On screen he is often cast as American authority figures such as diplomats, academics, clergy, political leaders, and corporate executives.

He developed the role of William Booth in Blood & Fire through the Disney/ASCAP Musical Theatre Workshop with Stephen Schwartz. Additional theatre credits include Josephine: The Musical, August: Osage County, Godspell, Macbeth, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

In addition to acting, John is a producer, director, and writer, and the founder of TAPE IT ABQ, where he coaches actors internationally in professional audition and self-taping techniques. He holds U.S. and Irish citizenship and works internationally with professional bases in the U.K., India., & USA.
