Joel Olano is a German actor of Filipino origins. He has appeared in international and European film and television productions and performed on major German stages, including the Münchner Kammerspiele and the Gasteig in Munich.

Over the years, his film work has received several awards and recognition, such as a Best Supporting Actor nomination by Die Seriale for the ARD series UPUP and a Best Actor prize in the Philippines in 1987.

Olano’s career reflects diverse cultural influences. He is linguistically versatile and is part of the actors’ pool at the University of Television and Film Munich (HFF), contributing his talent to various projects.
