Jérôme Hauptman is a born Belgian actor who graduated from the Cours Florent in 2016. After graduating from the Solvay Brussels School in 2012 and a career in film production, he turned to theatre. His demanding nature led him to take a two-year course in comedy writing at the One Man Show school in Paris. In the theatre, he worked with Ahmed Salim, whom he assisted in co-writing the show 'Voyage de l'alchimie à la chimie' on the history of culture in the Arab world, performed at UNESCO. The following year, he performed and wrote a one-man show under the direction of Anne Cangelosi and Alexandre Delimoges at the Comédie de Paris in a show about Belgium. Alongside his stage work, he wrote for the Revue des Galeries, directed by David Michels in a show performed at the Théâtre Royal des Galeries. His film credits include Jan Kounen's L'homme qui rétrécit (The Shrinking Man) as a stand-in for Jean Dujardin, and Kaouther Ben Hania's L'homme qui avait vendu sa peau (The Man Who Sold His Skin), starring Monica Bellucci and Koen de Bauw. He is currently appearing in commercials for AUDI, KBC and the EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT, as well as in four shows, Don Jamel de Bruxelles at the Théâtre Jacques Franck, Cobalt at Belgian universities, 'Voyage de l'alchimie à la chimie' and 'Mariés sur le Tarmac', which was shortlisted for the Prix Tournesol 2023 and has been touring Belgium and France for the last four years. He is multilingual, in French, English and Spanish.
