Jasmin Kiranoglu (*1993, Hamburg) grew up in Antalya, Berlin and Munich and has been based primarily in Switzerland since 2013. She is currently establishing a second professional base in Berlin.

Kiranoglu is an actress, performance artist and theatre maker. In her work, she brings together body, space, objects and audience, exploring empathy as well as psychological and physical vulnerability. Alongside her work in performance and theatre contexts, she is currently building her on-camera material as an actress. She is co-founder of the collective Portakal Radikal together with sound artist Matthias Müller.

She studied Acting (B.A.), Expanded Theater (M.A.) and Contemporary Art Practice (M.A.) at Bern University of the Arts, and further developed her practice in modern dance during an Erasmus stay in Istanbul.

In 2025, she was part of the music theatre project Fibsi and the Edge of the Abyss (directed by Sarah Noemi Brusi, composed by Stefan Kägi & Rita Maria Jurt) in Zurich. Most recently, she presented her performance gestülpt at Kunstraum Bern Bümpliz (2025) and was part of the group performance Let Us Share by Anne Kersting at Paula Festival St. Gallen (2025).

Further works include Katza Nidra 7 (with Martin Schick, Plötzlich Tod Festival, Bern, 2025), Back to Wollyhood in Duster (Uster, 2025), and City of Cats in Bern and Burgdorf (2023/24). With Portakal Radikal, she has performed at BONE Performance Festival (2024), Kulturesk Festival at Reitschule Bern (2024), and ACT Festival at PROGR Bern (2023), among others.
