When I was thirteen, I stood before a camera for the first time. My very first take had to be redone because I “wasn’t allowed to look directly into the lens”… Well, what did I know!

My name is Jamian. I'm an enthusiastic creative, based in the Netherlands, with roots on Curaçao and in the Dutch city of Utrecht. Who aims to inspire, bring diversity, and represent through his work. Growing up in a turbulent family, I often felt unseen. After my parents’ divorce, I found a way to share my story. Through acting, I was healing. It became a representation of how I felt. 

Driven by my story, I aim to create authentic ones that people feel seen through. With the hope that my (characters’) stories can be a source of inspiration, and a representation of how they feel.
