Ivona Baković, born on April 10, 1999, in Split, grew up in Tomislavgrad, completing her education there before pursuing acting at KIC Tomislavgrad. In 2017, she joined the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo, graduating in 2021 with Yasmina Reza’s "God of Carnage."

As an acting educator in Tomislavgrad and Sarajevo, she contributed to various acting schools and courses. Currently, she works as an acting educator for children for Lilalu Bildungs- und Ferienprogrammen and Impro Macht Schule, both in Munich.

Theater credits include Sarajevo National Theatre, Sarajevo Youth Theatre, and Sarajevo War Theatre, where "The Hunger Artist" won Best Play in Serbia (2022). The ensemble received recognition from Sarajevo National Theatre in the 2022/23 season.

In film, Ivona starred in "Tell Me Something Nice" (Mirela Salihović, 2021), "Spectrum" (Albert Rami, 2021), and "Zumbul and the Hammer" (Redžinald Šimek, 2023). She appeared in documentaries like "Children of Peace" (Emir Kapetanović, 2016) and "In Pursuit of Resemblance" (Emir Kapetanović, 2017). Music videos include Zabranjeno pušenje ("Ispod radara," 2023) and Helem Nejse ("Guramo tu priču," 2022).

She served as a TV presenter for Sarajevo Mon Amour - The Chronicles of the 27th Sarajevo Film Festival in 2021 and reprised the role in 2023. Subsequently, she commenced working as a TV presenter for the lifestyle TV show Nova IN at Nova BH, leaving this position in 2023. Ivona Baković is fluent in BHS (Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian), English, and German.
